Mark had been visiting the Gasparilla inn & Club in Boca Grande since his childhood. With his parents still owning a beautiful colonial style home there, it became the perfect place for him and Ellen to escape to from the cold winter days of New York City. We started our session at their home, only minutes away from the Gasparilla Inn & Club, and I was immediately impressed with its simple yet quaint architectural features. We spent some time photographing on their beautiful wrap around porch before making our way to the dock, which overlooked the turquoise waters surround the island. Afterwards, we explored the island together by golf cart, stopping by all the major landmarks including Banyan Street, the lighthouse, The Pink Elephant and the Gasparilla Inn & Club.
